Home Team Sports is closing the  Macon Mall location & having a Moving Sale!!!

Well, the time has finally come, and it is a sad time for Home Team Sports. After twelve and a half years of calling the Macon Mall home, we are closing our Macon Mall location. I did not want to leave the mall, and still do not want to, but the time has come. In August of 2008, we opened our store on Tom Hill Sr Blvd, so that we would be established somewhere outside of the mall, if this day ever came. The problem is, our numbers are so far off in both places, that closing the mall store is necessary. We cannot maintain the overhead in both places and if business doesn't pick up, our Tom Hill Sr location could also be in jeopardy.     BUT...THE GOOD NEWS IS...   From now until we close the Macon Mall location, we will have many of our items marked down to clearance prices. Prices on many of our framed prints will be reduced drastically (Not Jerseys). Items throughout the store will be reduced in an effort to sell them instead of moving and storing them. Please keep in mind, we are closing a location and moving, we are NOT going out of business! As a rule, we do not put autographed items on sale, but there will certainly be exceptions to that during this move. Framed items and plaques especially will be reduced.   As I am writing this, it appears that April 30th will be our last day in the Macon Mall. That means that we don't have much time to pack and move everything that has accumulated over the past 12 1/2 years, and that the life of the sale may be short lived, so I guess we all need to get busy.    In Closing,   We appreciate everyone who has shopped with us and supported our autograph signings throughout our time at the Macon Mall. We hope that all of you will continue to shop with us at our Tom Hill Sr location (next to Hooters). When we opened that location, we tried to do what advertising  we could afford, but it seems many people still don't know we are there. PLEASE, if you would pass this information on to people that you know who may be interested.
